I love trying out new places and have a passion for local food. I was driving down FM 517 the other day and I spied a new coffee shop, so I knew I had to check it out as I'm a big coffee lover.
This post will be a short and sweet review of Steam Kaffe, a coffee shop in Dickinson!
The Details:
Location: 1837 FM 517 East, Dickinson, Texas
This is a lovely coffee shop with delicious coffee and drinks. They have a nice selection of espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and a variety of teas and lemonades, as well as cold brews.
What I got: They have limited edition drinks off-menu, and I tried their "Pinkerton" drink, because it sounded really different and exciting.
This cold drink was lavender vanilla chai with espresso, half and half, and whipped cream.
So, you never know with lavender in food if it's going to taste like soap...
Thankfully, Steam Kaffe got it spot on! The lavender paired really well with the chai and just added a subtle floral note to the drink that was not overpowering at all. It was really tasty! I'm usually not a cold coffee drink person but this was really delicious. The espresso, chai, and lavender all worked together really harmoniously!
The vibe:
The shop has plenty of space for people to hang out, but also cozy corners for those who may be wanting to hole up somewhere and get some work done.
