Is anyone else wondering where the year has gone? I can't believe thanksgiving is next week. That being said, that means if you have kids, they are going to be off ALL next week.

I found this little gem when I was when I was working on my free guide to the Best Local Places to get Desserts in the League City area (you can snag that here and read about all the other places in the guide). My kids just loved this place!
The shop had a fun and funky space vibe and the spoons changed color when they got cold-I mean, how cool is that??
I ordered the Ice Cream Nachos, which are 2 scoops of ice cream with 3 toppings on a bed of waffle cone “chips”.
I am a chocolate and caramel fan, so naturally I had to try those flavors-the Triple chocolate was full of chocolate ice cream, fudge swirl and brownie chunks, and the salted caramel had a nice, strong caramel flavor and I appreciated that it had a just the right amount of saltiness.
They also had some more unusual flavors that I tried, like Key Lime Pie and Lemon Poppyseed, and those were also really good. I can tell whoever designs the flavors has an good understanding of flavor balance because all the flavors really work well together.
